Most of us love to leisurely build puzzles, but have you ever thought about turning up the heat and competing in a fast paced, team build puzzle competition? Yes or No, it’s time to call up your puzzle buddies and make your team of 2-4 so you can enter the puzzle building competition being held at Amery Ale Works on December 15th! During this competition we’ll see who can build a 500 piece puzzle the fastest.

Once the contest is over and the winners have claimed their prizes, feel free to stick around for some social puzzling, drinks & eats!

The Details: 

Each team will get the same 500 piece puzzle. No one will see the puzzle in advance, it will be a surprise to all at the start of the competition. Once the timer starts teams may open up their puzzle and begin. The competition will be monitored by an AAW staff who will also record finishing times and announce the winner at the end. Each team gets to take home their puzzle at the end of the competition. Food & drink will be served during the competition.

Rules

• You are encouraged to eat & drink- it makes puzzle building easier ;)

• You may use the box to sort puzzle pieces

• No distracting the other teams allowed!

• A 10-15 minute break will be given halfway through the competition (depends on how many teams we have.)

• 2 hours to puzzle

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays by taking some time to connect with the important people in your life, or use this time to meet new people in the area!

A variety of holiday puzzles will be set up on the 2nd floor for you to build at your leisure! Eating and drinking is encouraged as it helps the puzzle muscles in the brain brain work!

There is no cost to this, just a fun way to get out and enjoy what the holidays are about, connection (no pun intended!)

It's time to start looking ahead to holiday shopping! We're hosting our annual holiday market on the upper two floors on Amery Ale Works. So while you're out on the Amery Holiday Stroll make a point to stop out for lunch, grab a drink and stroll around our bar(n) to SHOP!

We had a great time last winter with Chad & Marj, so we thought... Let's do it again! Now this time you don't have to commit to a full meal with us, unless you want to! We know you may still be full from Thanksgiving on Saturday ;). We just thought it would be fun to bring your friends and family from out of town to visit our bar(n) and spend an evening laughing!

Backtracking a little bit, if you aren't still full from Thanksgiving, feel free to come early and grab dinner & drinks in the taproom before you head to the second floor for the comedy show that kicks off at 7 pm!

Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of time to grab a drink & a seat! The show is set to run from 7-8:30 pm.

We're running a deal, if you buy tickets before November 1st you get $5 off per ticket- so $15 per ticket instead of $20!

Amery Ale Works would like to introduce Scott Halverson & Al Canfield!

Come join us for an evening of live music, dinner and drinks paired perfectly with this duo that plays a variety of soft rock music from the 60s, 70s, & 80s, country, trop rock and some contemporary hits.

“Sott and Al” have been playing as a dual act for 10 years. They bring a variety of musical talents to our venue. Scott played acoustic guitar in a Christian Contemporary Band for over 25 years before teaming up with Al in 2015. Al has been playing bass in several bands for over 40 years… from rock and roll, to blues, to Christian, to country, and now honky tonk. He is currently playing bass for, and is one of the lead singers in, “Blue Moon Drive.”

Restorative Yoga & Massage
Relax your body and renew your energy in this special 90-minute Restorative Yoga class. You will be guided through a series of supported restorative yoga postures, using blankets, blocks, and bolsters for support. While you rest in the pose, the instructor will apply massage techniques to deepen the relaxation response. No yoga experience necessary. Class size is limited. Preregistration required.

This year our Thursday night trivia falls on Halloween! So not only will this be a spooky Halloween themed trivia. We are also asking teams to dress up!

As always, our winning trivia team will take home a $25 AAW gift card, but that's not the only prize at stake! The team in the best themed costumes wins a $20 AAW gift card. Plus the Trivia Host will be handing out a free drink for her all around favorite costume of the night!

Lets get warmed up!

October's Autumn Yoga will be held INDOORS at Amery Ale Works.

We will head to the heated 3rd floor loft to practice in a cozy, private space - perfect for chilly or damp days.

October Yoga features gentle, easily modified movements with an intention to mindfully warm the body, appreciate the season, and meditate.

Appropriate for all levels, even those with no yoga experience. (What a great place to start!).

This is a 45-60 min practice.

After class we will head down to the bar(n) to enjoy a serving of Autumn Spice Mulled wine (may substitute) and social time. Option to gather on the patio to soak in the crisp autumn air and beautiful autumn foliage on the Ale Works property, weather permitting.

What to bring:

*Yoga mat (I have extras)

*water ( and/ or a warm beverage)

*layers easily added or removed during yoga.

*a small blanket for final resting pose

*Any props you wish to have.

Please arrive a few minutes early to check in!

Fee: $19 - Includes Yoga and a glass of Autumn Spice Mulled wine

The annual classic car show is RESCHEDULED to Sunday, September 1st from 2-5 pm, but there is still good news!
